Dario Franchitti to retire

Dario Franchitti is retiring due to injuries. It's a shame I would have loved to see him comeback and win a couple races before a real retirement.

Nascar season over

I cannot believe that the Nascar season is over. Matt Crafton won the 2013 drivers title. While Kyle Busch won the owners championship. Toyota dominated the Manufacturers title. Now in Nationwide, Austin Dillon won the  drivers title through Nascar cheating. In the last race Regan Smith, Jeremy Clements, and Mike Wallace wrecked but the caution lasted 11 laps. The prolonged caution likely cost Sam Hornish Jr. a championship and a ride. But, Nascar Vice President Robin Pemberton says there was just a lot of oil on the track, I completely disagree. In the owners title, the 22 of Roger Penske, who had Brad Kesolwski, Ryan Blaney, AJ Allmindinger, and Joey Logano beat out the Kyle Busch driven,Joe Gibbs owned 54 car.  As that also gave Ford the manufacturers title too. Last but not least, the Sprint cup! JJ became 6 pack winning the drivers and owners title. Chevy clinched the Manufacturers title before the season ended.

Kwasniewski win K&N East Championship.

Dylan Kwasniewski won the Nascar K&N East championship a couple weeks ago. He beat Brett Moffitt in the final race of the season. Jesse Little earned ROTY. Kwasnieswki will probably move to the NCWTS next year with backer RockStar Energy. Moffitt will probably run a limited schedule in that series.

Magnussen to replace Perez

Kevin Magnussen will join Jensen Button at Mclaren next year. Bad choice by Whitmarsh, he should have signed Perez. Perez has more experience and would do better.

Massa to Williams

Williams confirmed Felipe Massa and Valteri Bottas to at least 2 year deals. Pastor Maldonado looks out of a drive as Lotus will likely sign Nico Hulkenberg.

Daniel Kyvat won the GP3 championship last weekend. He will drive for Toro Rosso in F1 next season in place of Daniel Ricciardo. Conor Daly was 3rd in the standings in GP3.
